Americade is perhaps best known for their "American Metal" release back in 1982. 13 years later they self-produced, self-recorded and self-released "Americade.com" - an album that had been in the works since 1989. Brothers Gerard (guitar) and P.J. De Marigny (lead vocals, keys) are still here, along with powerhouse drummer Walt Woodward III (The Scream, Sweet Savage) and bassist Greg Smith (Alice Cooper, Doro, Red Dawn, Joe Lynn Turner). On this CD they move into a more mature AOR / Melodic Rock territory and what perhaps lacks on the production end is surely made up for in musicianship and strength of songwriting. This is certainly a CD well worth exploring - there is some great stuff on here!
